Respecting your privacy and confidentiality is important to us and we have gone to great lengths to do so. In the paragraphs below you will find detailed, yet easy to understand information about how we will protect your rights to privacy and confidentiality. IPPS will collect and store only the following information: the name of the domain (Internet Service Providers or ISP’s) from which you access the Internet (for example, AOL.com or BSU.edu) and the date and time you access our site. WE WILL NOT IDENTIFY INDIVIDUAL USERS FROM THIS GENERAL COLLECTED DATA. We use the aggregate statistical information we collect to measure the number of visitors to the different sections of our site and to help us make our site more useful to visitors. All aggregate statistical information collected is password protected and accessible only to Dr. Daniel Baney, President of IPPS and developer of this web site. You also may decide to send us personally-identifying information, for example, in an electronic mail message containing a request, question, or suggestion for improving our web pages. We will respond to your email when appropriate, being as discrete as is reasonably possible. This web site is NOT designed nor intended to be “directed to children” as discussed in the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). However, should information be provided to us from a minor child, we will make a good-faith effort to obtain parental consultation following the privacy statements discussed above, the HIPPA guidelines located HERE, and any laws governing the nature of the disclosure.
